I have always been interested in the distinction between memory and the past.  While memory is the perception of the past, in the present, the past can only exist as a memory.   This causes us to bleed the truth with our perceptions of the truth.  My work concerns revealing the ways in which we deny ourselves truths that do not fit into the picture of the stories we would like to remember.
